CATHEDRAL HILL HOTEL

The host hotel for WACC '99 is the San Francisco Cathedral Hill Hotel. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown, 17 miles from the airport. The conference room rate is $129.00 per night for single or double occupancy, plus the 14% hotel tax rate. This special rate will be honored three days before and three days after the conference dates, providing that the reservation is made prior to the cut-off date -- Thursday, January 28, 1999. After the cut-off date, reservations will be accepted on a rate available, space available basis. Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements.

The Hotel may be reached by phone at +1-800-622-0855 or +1-415-776-8200. You may also Fax your reservation to +1-415-441-1174. You must identify yourself as a member of the group booking "WACC". Attendees are responsible for payment of their own room, tax, and incidental expenses, payable upon check-out.

Reservations must be guaranteed by major credit card or first night's deposit.

Deposits are due within seven days of making a reservation.

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Baggage storage areas are available for early arrivals and late departures.

Cancellations must be received no later than 24 hours prior to the date of arrival.

Detailed directions and maps to the Cathedral Hill Hotel will be included in your registration packet. Also included will be a map of San Francisco with a coupon for the airport Super Shuttle, Hotel information, a receipt for payment, and a sightseeing brochure will also be included in your packet.

The Super Shuttle can be found on the upper level of the airport. Proceed outside to the blue part of the outer curb. Follow the Super Shuttle signs to the uniformed Airport Guest Coordinator. They will arrange Super Shuttle transportation to your destination.

The Super Shuttle operates 24 hours a day. Between 1:00 am and 5:00 am waits can be 30 to 45 minutes. During other times of the day, the wait may be less. Approximate cost of travel between the airport and the hotel is $11.00 each way. Reservations are not required from the airport. However, if you wish to make reservations, you may call Super Shuttle at 415-558-8500.
